The USS Flasher crew with their "girlfriends" taken at a "Flasher" party
in Perth, Western Australia in January 1945 while they were relaxing after her 5th war patrol.
The morning of January 15th Flasher was hauled out for a two day cleaning and painting by the shipyard.

All photos are the property of Deborah Drake-Brockman and her son Alan Jackson of

I would like to thank them for the kind use of these historic images.
