She was re-commissioned again on Dec. 12, 1952 and remained in commissioned until Feb. 21, 1953 when she was loaned to the Netherlands Navy on the same date. She was returned to the US Navy July 15, 1971 and Struck from the Ships List and sold for scrapping Aug. 15.1971.
