DATE VESSEL TYPE NAME TONNAGE LOCATION Jul. 07, 1944 Destroyer Tamanami 13-55N, 118-30E Nov. 25, 1944 Passenger/Cargo Manila Maru 05-30N, 113-21E 2 Ships Mingo was de-commissioned January 1, 1947 and placed in Fleet Reserve until May 29, 1955 when she was re-commissioned. On August 15, 1955 she was loaned to Japan. She was returned to the US on March 31, 1966. Mingo was struck from the Ships Lists on February 29, 1971 and then sold to Japan November 1, 1971.
