+ Shipping of less than 500 tons wasn't accounted for by JANAC. Sunk by deck gun fire. Vessel was burning when Albacore was driven under by aircraft. Picked up 5 survivors. Albacore was herself sunk on 11/7/1944 in the channel between Hokkaido and Honshu with 86 men and officers aboard. Location sunk is 41.49N,  141.11E
